Spot on. Such people double down because doubting themselves means admitting the possibility that they've been cheering on the surgical maiming and chemical sterilisation of minors, all in service of a trendy, unfalsifiable, quasi-religious ideology.

The problem with persuading Democrats to make a U-turn on pediatric gender transition is that they can’t bear to consider for a second that they are complicit in a huge medical scandal. It’s too awful. The enormity of what they’ve done - what they are still doing - to children is too great: their brains freeze when confronted with the truth.

It’s a harsh truth that needs to be said over & over again.
We need to speak out for those that cannot defend themselves from gender ideology and all the harms it brings.
