The United States is a constitutional Republic, not a democracy. No rational person wants a democracy.

Constitutional Republic…which even as a “Limited Democracy” is still a democracy. Why do you fight so hard on that? No one is arguing we are a “pure” democracy

When the object becomes democracy, people start to look at how the Constitution restrains democracy—which is the whole point of the Constitution—and criticize them as anti-democratic.
