What 2020 taught

As I have watched the last four years play out, I have come to realize that 2020 was a necessary evil. 2020 was the wake up call that many people needed in America. We needed to see what kind of evil we were really up against. And we saw that tenfold. We saw four years of an administration that has put America last. We saw an administration that has taken every single American citizen for granted, has robbed them blind and imported a brand new class of voters to replace them. 2020 showed us all that we have that fighting spirit. We saw the rise of a new and more awake conservative, who was ready to mobilize and fight back. We saw an awakening among independents and minority voters after four years of destruction by the left. Our movement grew, it became stronger, more diverse and more inclusive. The old Republican party died in 2020 and out of its ashes rose a party that is for the people, a party of common sense. We added powerful allies in RFK, Elon Musk, David Sacks, Bill Ackman, Nicole Shenihan, and Tulsi Gabbard. The left and their depraved hatred of Donald Trump have alienated so many and instead of destroying Trump, they made him out to be a martyr. They thought they destroyed him in 2020 but instead all they did was invigorate us to fight even harder for the choice to pick who we want as our president, which only made him that much stronger. 2024 feels different. The vibe check is definitely bigger than 2016 and 2020. The momentum is on our side and we need to continue to do what we have been doing, which is to act like we’re 20 points down but talk like we already won.

Absolutely. I'm a former Democrat. I just early voted in Georgia and cast my ballot for and . Many feel this way. Here’s why… Rule of Law The Biden/Harris administration’s weaponization of the law and media in an attempt to bankrupt, silence, and jail their political rivals is extremely un-American. These are the tactics of Banana Republics and Soviet Secret Police. As Lavrentiy Beria, Joseph Stalin's secret police chief, once said, “Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.” Additionally, the Biden/Harris administration, as well as much of the Left, has been soft on real crime, allowing criminals to roam freely on our streets and making our cities unsafe. This must end. Violent criminals must be arrested and kept off our streets. A Harris/Walz administration would be a continuation of the political lawfare and lawlessness on ours streets that has been a hallmark of the Biden/Harris administration. It has no place in America and we should reject it. Free Speech The Biden/Harris administration worked with social media companies to suppress free speech as reported in the Twitter Files. Their goal is narrative control and power centralization and they view our right to Free Speech as an impediment. A Harris/Walz administration would be a continuation of this error. I believe that was right when he said, “This is a battle for the future of civilization. If free speech is lost even in America, tyranny is all that lies ahead.” This sentiment echoes the warning issued by our Founding Father George Washington, who once said, “If freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.” We'd do well to heed these words. Without free speech, critical thinking and independent thought die. Once lost, it’s not a right that’s easily regained. Secure Borders The Biden/Harris Administration let millions of illegal immigrants pour across our border. Further, they want to create a pathway to citizenship for those who entered illegally. Simply put, this is a path to ruin and an unforgivable betrayal of the American people. Alexander Hamilton warned of this reality, "To admit foreigners indiscriminately to the rights of citizens, the moment they put foot in our country would be nothing less, than to admit the Grecian Horse into the Citadel of our Liberty and Sovereignty." And some time later, Teddy Roosevelt did as well, saying, "There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all… The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities… There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.” A Harris/Walz administration would continue these disastrous policies. Government Efficiency Our National Debt is $35.7 trillion (122% of GDP), CPI is historically high, and Americans can’t afford gas, groceries, or homes. Profligate spending and printing got us here. The Biden/Harris Administration has spent over $100 billion on foreign wars, $1.4 billion on illegal immigrants, and far less on Americans who need it. What’s clear is that our current government is not a responsible steward of taxpayer money or a capable manager of monetary policy. Further, the calls from the Left to “just tax the rich more” are economically illiterate. Total U.S. billionaire wealth is ~$5 trillion, 2023 gov spending was ~$6.3 trillion, and 10 year debt interest will be ~$15 trillion. Spending and printing is the problem. Efficiency and growth, not taxation, are the solution. It’s time to put America and Americans first. We need to unlock energy production and innovation. We need to invest in our people. We need to invest in our future. We need to pay top dollar for top talent, reward for performance, fire under performers, and run government like a top-tier business. If we do that, then state capacity, competency, and efficiency will go parabolic. That’s how we get an ascendant and heroic America speed-running the Kardashev scale. As head of the Department of Government Efficiency, I believe can help here. Foreign Policy Our adversaries want us overextended and weakened. The Biden/Harris administration has obliged them by draining our strategic petroleum reserves, creating an unmitigated border crisis, overseeing an uncontrolled rise in the Consumer Price Index, carrying out domestic censorship and lawfare, and contributing to our spiraling National Debt. Deterrence is the name of the game and, as we stare down the possibility of a three front war with Russia, China, and Iran, it is clear that the Biden/Harris administration has failed miserably. I have no confidence that the Harris/Walz administration would do any better. To sum it up... Free speech, independence, limited government, free markets, secure borders, low crime, true rule of law, individualism, smart spending, peace through strength, and the can-do spirit. That’s the common sense path to a prosperous and secure America. That's why I voted Trump/Vance.
